A 500 spine should fly good and if you really want to load up on the foc a 400 just might work. It just depends what your after?

Is the bow center shot? how long of an arrow do you want to shoot?

I’ll second the .500 spine. I just made up some Goldtip 3555’s with 100gr brass inserts and 200gr points. Total arrow weight is 578gr. Shooting them out of a 45lb recurve.

You can play with tip weight and/or length to adjust spine.

Do you have to use a high speed arrow saw to cut carbon fiber arrows or could I use a band saw. I want to try to build some and I need to do it at home. Thanks.

I don’t think that will work. You could use a dremel like in this video.

I’ve always used an arrow saw, I bought one 20 yrs ago and its still going strong.
