Hello traditional archery community. My name is Josh Pridgeon. My dad, Bryan Pridgeon, used to make longbows and recurves back in the 80’s and 90’s. He was also a contributor to Traditional Bowhunter magazine. I have recently begun trying to see if I can find any of his bows. He got rid of everything some time back. Unfortunately my father’s health has declined so, over the past few years, that I can’t ask him anything about them. I’d like to find one or two to bring back into the family if they are still out there. If anyone knows anything, or has any recommendations about how to go about searching, please reach out.
Thank you,
Joshua

The best suggestion that I can make would be to enter his name in the ‘search’ on eBay now & then.
Good luck.

Thank you Richard. I have added watches on eBay.

Welcome to the forum. I am not familiar with your dad’s bows . I noticed he wrote an article for the Fall 92 Tradbow… you could ask the folks at Tradbow ( Robin the incomparable Webmom ) to help you access that mag or possible other issues that might have your dad or, advertisement of his bows.

Thanks Ray, I did search his name on Tradbow, and I have ordered 3 copies of the 3 that popped up. Copies for my brother and mom. If I can’t make any headway on the bows, it’ll be nice to read his articles. I have since found that he sold as Pridgeon Mountain Longbows and his signature was on them with the specs. How would I get in touch with (Robin the incomparable Webmom) ? Just through the, “contact us”, section of the website?

Hi Josh. I remember your dad’s writing, and looking at the list I have, they were stories that I enjoyed very much. I see your order online, so I’ll email you directly about the other articles. If he advertised in any of those magazines, I wouldn’t know. Good luck finding his bows.
