I picked up a 55# Browning Wasp at a second hand store and would like to know what size alum arrows would be a good starting point? I tried the 2020s and 2117s I shoot out of my 60# Dreamcatcher. Too heavy. I draw 28″. Also does anyone know where to find info on the suggested brace height for the Browning? I think that may be part of the problem.

        Thanks

I shoot 2016’s 52# @ 28″. They fly great for me, 125 or 150 gr. heads. hope this helps you

              Hi,
I’m shooting a 45# Wasp that I got for Christmas about 1973. It’s a beauty. I’m using 155 gr heads and 27″ 2016 shafts. I have the brace set at about 7 1/2″. It’s pretty quiet with cat whiskers. I’ve been shooting it steady for about a year and a half, but it spent many years waiting in the attic. It’s a beautiful bow and has held up well.
It’ll be going back into retirement soon, as I’m picking up one of Leon Stewart’s Slammers in the next week or so.
