Well – I had pretty much shot up my targets to the point that they would not stop my arrows from passing through no matter which side I shot at.
Due to a shortage on funds following a major car malfunction – I was forced to aim small at the few square inches in the corners of the targets that would still stop the arrow.
Then I had a thought – what about the bottom. I stacked the two targets where the bottoms became the new front and I am back in business! Not sure why this simply thought has never crossed my mind before. The bottom and top for that matter triples the life of your target!

Way to use them up! Those foam targets are expensive. I’m going to try the horse stall matt behind bales next, ala Steve Graf. A 3×4 matt is on sale for $20 at tractor supply so I’ll pick one up and give it a try. Best. Dwc

Ha! I’m cheap so I’ll stand close! ➡

I think with what was going on with me today that I need to work on being sneaky more than shooting so I can get close enough to poke a deer with a sharp broadhead with plenty of EFOC. 😡
Guess you can guess I had a bad shooting day. Otherwise OK. Me and another feller set up some 3D targets at the range and had the Boy Scouts out. 39 boys shooting.
Entertaining at the least:D.
This is the 4th year I’ve done this and we’ve gained from 15 to nearly 40.
There is hope!!!!!!!!
Cheers! Bottoms up…………….

That’s a great effort! No wonder you were shooting bad with so much to take care of.
My guess is most of us spend more time on shooting than on sneaking. I know I’m guilty of that. I’m pretty sure I can hit pretty well 15 and under , but getting that close is the bigger challenge.
I like Grumpy’s two-step! Dwc
