A while ago there was some discussion on boots. I was in the market for a new pair of winter boots and chiseled my way out by getting these overboots (Neos) thru work, which is where I use them. Built in gaitors too. I just put my lightweight 3 season boots on, slip these on and have warm and dry toots. Not a hunting type boot, but a good winter walker. Just passing on my field test. I really like them.

Yes have them, used by many mushers, heavy clunky will keep your feet warm, but for a more functional and hunting boot much lighter again—try mukluks extreme by http://www.mukluks.com

Mike is correct, I have the mukluks he referred to they are fantastic. Just like wearing moccasins and super warm. I also have the Neos for work with the studded soles. They are much noisier than the mukluks they also feel heavier but that may be the steel toe work boots that I wear inside them.
