I have a Graybark widow its a really sweet shooting bow very forgiving but its heavy! I usualy shoot hill stylew Longbows or my Kota Recurve which are very light bows thats my only complaint it interferes with me swapping between bows.

I have two sets of limbs 55# and 67 # and it shoots very sweet with either set. It shoots light aluminum or heavy wood arrows equally well and its a very quiet bow.

I shoot one of the new KB model recurves and could not say enough good things about it. It is light and easy to carry, very will balanced. I have a 29 inch draw and shoot the 58 inch model.I just carried it for 8 days straight on a Colorado Elk hunt and am currently stalking white tales at home. I have been shooting two sets of arrows, one at 550g and the other at 700g.Both shoot equaly well.

I just traded a PSA for a PLV, its not that there was anything wrong with the bow and it was wicked fast but at 58″ the finger pinch was a bother to me.

Black Widow has a test drive program if you are really interested in one.

Black Widow bows are luke any other bow, some poeple love them, some people hate them… the grip isnt for everyone, and fhe bows load really fast, thats why widows feel like they stack…widows are a very quick bow, and very easy to quiet down. They are very easy to tune…what turns me on about widows is the bows are just tough, built to hunt, and built to take whatever punishment you can dish out… if you do try one, give it time, shoot it for a few weeks, and you just might like them…

I test drove a pch 58inch at 50# with a low wrists grip. It was a dream to handle, look at and shoot. It was heavier but a lovely bow. Try one out to see for yourself. It was a simple process and the black widow folks are great. It is still on my wish list of bows but I have gone another route! Good luck.

I have an old Black Widow recurve that was my Fathers. It delaminated on me last year when I was practicing before deer season. Black Widow said that they couldn’t fix it. I have been wondering if it was possible to repair it. I love that bow and would love to have it back in shooting form.

Thanks everyone! I think I’m going to start the test drive process on Wednesday. Looking forward to a new bow and allowing the my 1964 Grizzly a little break.
