The Recurve Adoption Agency (a division of eBay) dropped off my latest ………….. a 62″ / 62# @28″ short riser Black Swan.  I’ve had my eye on one of these for a while now and got a deal on this one that was just barely used.  Wanting a bow quiver and the stabilizer attachment for it, I called up Arvid Danielson the owner of Black Swan Archery in Tucson and arranged to meet him at the shop. Arvid’s a great guy and spent a good deal of time getting the bow set up exactly like I wanted.  Being into retro bows, this one is the first high dollar / high performance bow that I’ve owned.  Even after doing a couple of things to quiet the twang I had to run the cronograph a couple of times to double check the readings. Getting 192 fps with my 2213 hunting arrows.  And ………………. it shoots right where I look.

So far ……………. really happy with the bow

Awesome! He’s been an advertiser for many years, and there was a profile on him in the Apr/May 2015 issue. Let me know if you’d like a copy of the article.

Years ago I owned a Black Swan longbow– shot well

A friend has it now, as I no longer can shoot a 75lber…

              Enjoy —
