Anyone have info on Bill Matlock? He was a bow builder that was pretty good at his trade in the 90’s. I belive he passed away. I had the pleasure of shooting one of his bows today. It was a bit heavy for me in weight, but I actually shot it well! It was a pretty aggressive deflex bow…kind of interesting! Needless to say, It was a work of art with many layers of buitiful wood with a black glass backing and wood on the belly. I am thinking about bringing it home and playing with it for a while and see if it chooses to stay with me. My buddy owns a trad shop and has it on the shelf for sale.
Any info on this boyer and his bows would be greatly appreciated.8)
