Well been searching around alot for a vehicle, and I finally found one that wasnt a roach, and priced right. Boy am I excited! I love this truck, it has some high mileage, but my dad has had this model of truck since . . . forever so he knows what craps out after a while, and we looked this bad boy over and it is in really good shape!!! going to pick it up this afternoon. Only real downside to it, is where we bought it from. It takes 2.5 hours to get to the place:shock:, and we went down yesterday to look at it, made a offer and it is mine, now I am going again today to pay, and bring it home!!

Congratulations Chris!! Darn good looking truck. If its got lots of miles you would sure not tell by looking at the body. My truck is an 06 red Ford 4×4 extended cab. I just got it this past summer. The 06 was half the price of new. The red is a very easy color to keep clean. Mine almost self cleans. Congrats again! You’ll like the 4×4!

thanks guys, I drove it home half way from the dealer, man is it sweet! Even though the mileage is high, you cant tell it. Dad and I were joking, he says the odmeter is off by about 3 mph, he is guessing that becuase he had his garmin on the dash that show how fast you are going, and if that truely is the case that could possibly up the mileage. Personally I dont think that has much effect, but we were joking saying that- wonder how long it has been like that? Think if it came off the line with that mistake it could really have . . . 100K instead of 226???

There are a few things wrong, the mirrors dont work, and they wobble alot when driving, and there is no key phob? But power doors and locks! And no owners manual, and the ujoints are humming after they get tired, but dad said they are easy to fix when they are not broken? So we might just change them out! But thanks again guys, next big purchase- a house, lol

                  Enjoy my friend.

I think manufacturers are allowed a 10percent margin on the odo.

                        Chris,

The truck looks great. Congratulations. The things you mentioned that don’t work should be fairly easy to fix. Good luck. Take care of her, change the oil, and she’ll take you a long ways.

that is a good looking truck, I have an 03 expidetion, thank you all for driving Fords. I work for Ford and contrary to popular believe We are not over paid spoiled autoworkers like the media says. Even if they are not new, it’s still another blue oval on the road. Jim 🙂
