        A little hometown pride. This is a classmates buck from western Ma. where I grew up and still return to hunt.234 lbs or so dressed. Is this not about as good as it gets? And he did it with Trad gear (recurve) and the old green Bear razorheads!

                I shot one many years back in Ohio, that was 190 dressed. That thing makes him look small. Here in CA it would take 2 to come close to that size. 🙂

                  It would take two or three here in Washington too! When I first moved to the Northwest, and started seeing blacktails I wondered why all I ever saw were yearlings…

                  That’s a handsome buck. He ought to be a freezer filler.

                    I’ve had trail cams out for a couple months, and all I see are yearlings. And I’m right next door.

                        I have never seen a deer that large before. He must have crossed with an elk :shock:!
