I had heard this morning that the BLM was going to let ranchers drive any where they want and basically ignore the travel plan that I thought was in effect all ready. Is there any truth to this and how would this effect hunting and could we fight this or have we been and I have just been asleep and missed out? Hopefully this is just a bad rumor any info on the subject?

Can you point me to a source where you heard this?

You bet. I’ll send up some smoke signals and see what I can find out, but so far I haven’t heard anything to substantiate it (other than the larger-picture proposal for the state to appropriate a significant portion of federal lands…). Hopefully it’s just hot air, of which there is no shortage in the Spud State.

If I hear anything solid I’ll definitely post an update.

Smith I had talked to an outfitter that said yes . He said last season during archery that they pack in with ponies and theres a rancher riding in on an ATV looking for moo cows . This is a bad deal for archery and any hunting in these units I am trying to find out more info. With the new travel plans I thought this to be a no no.
