Welcome here, Todd. The photo is by Gary Logsdon, if anyone here knows him. Maybe our benevolent Web Mother will track it down for you. TJ handles the photos, so Don Thomas likely won’t know. That pack is attractive, but hardly big enough to hold my lunch for a day’s hunt. Of course,I try to eat well when hunting. 😛

On the cover of the latest issue of TBM the hunter is wearing a great looking backpack and quiver combination. Anyone recognize or know who the manufacturer might be?Thanks,
ToddHi Todd,
As David predicted Robin ran me down:^) The pack you see on the Aug/Sept TBM cover is a one-of-a-kind day pack made for me by leathersmith Art Vincent. It is constructed of bullhide and was designed to hold my essential gear and food for single day excusions from drop camp. I had Art add special straps and pockets to hold two cameras and a field tripod. The quiver was also built by Art and complements the back pack very well.
Hope this answers your question.

Thanks, Gary. Glad you could join us to answer Todd’s question. 😀
Art Vincent has been an advertiser in TBM for many, many years. Although Gary’s custom pack is not available, maybe Art has something else you would like. His business is Cedar Ridge Leatherworks.
