I can’t get used to the idea of super sharp broadheads rattling around in an open back quiver. So I never tried that kind.
I almost bought the quiver shown in the following link:
And I may still some day…
I hunt from a treestand a lot. So finding a good way to get arrows up a tree and keep ’em handy is always on my mind.
Still haven’t found anything that really beats a bow quiver in that regard.

Here is one I have been looking at a combo backpack and quiver. This particular model has a tree strap to hold to tree.

i always liked back quivers but i hate the rattle that that they make
so on the last one i made i put foam in the bottom and 2 selway arrow grippers in the top and now i can shake my quiver upside down and no rattle and the arrows do not fall out

Back quivers are great for practice or 3-D shoots but for hunting, I like a tube quiver. Its quiet, its comfortable and it takes minimal movement to pull another arrow if you need one. I also don’t like shooting with a quiver on my bow so the tube works well for me.

Think about a Kwikee Kwiver. Here’s a link:
At worst, you add a pound or so to your bow (I understand that could actually double some bow weights), but it is kwik (sorry, had to) to remove in a stand if you have a place to keep your arrows. Something to think about.

Yep, carrying extra arrows is a pain in the butt, to paraphrase my bowyer. I want to keep things simple on the bow, so no quiver there. On the back seems to stick up too much. I have a safarituff and like it a lot. It’s easy to carry, easy to get arrows out of, easy to hoist up into a stand and easy to hang on a hanger or branch stub in the tree. I’ll probably stick to that until I see something different.
