I just scanned thrugh the hot-from-the-oven Aug/Sept TBM on this website (that’s my preferred way: scan the article titles and authors, photos, ads, and maybe read Letters and such, online, then save the more detailed reads for the paper issue’s arrival) and deem it one of the best ever. The fall hunting issue is generally my favorite, and this one is exceptionally outstanding, beginning with an a**-kicking cover painting by our own (trad bowhunter and bowyer) Thomas Aquinas Daly. And best of all, that crackpot Petersen clown has nothing in this issue! I’ll leave the rest for you to discover yourselves.
