As a post-Christmas present to myself, my wife authorized me to purchase an Asbell Pullover in Evening Stand Green. So after about a week of waiting it arrived, and I am absolutely thrilled with this garment in all aspects; fit, stitching, color, hand warmer pocket placement, size of the hood, etc. As I’m sure all of you that own one of Mrs. Asbell’s garments knows, it’s just simply a great piece of clothing.
So I decide to call Mrs. Asbell, and let her hear just how thrilled I was with my latest acquisition. She couldn’t have been nicer. We actually spent 35 minutes on the phone! The conversation ranged from Mr. Asbell’s recent Trad Bow article “Sometimes…” to new clothing ideas and new patterns that she’ll be posting soon on their site. I forgot to ask permission to share her intended ideas on the forum, so rather than be a spoiler, you’ll just have to keep checking in to their site often!

PS. While I’m not much of a photographer myself, perhaps this would be a good place to start a collect of photos?

Mudd foot –
I own one Myself and am very pleased with it. Very nice bowhunting wool, and a pattern selection to fit most environments—- especially for the price.

I also bought one of these this fall .I layer it over a woolshirt and then a “stanfield” wool longunderwear shirt under that. Spent lots of hours in snow and wind this fall waiting for that elusive moose to show up . Now they come into my backyard to feed along the creek !

i got one just before they came out with a zippered version.
wish i’d have waited.

I bought an Evening Stand Green Vest at the Kzoo show its the 28oz wool which I really like, been wearing it every day it seems like great hunting plaid! She had a few zippered jackets there but they sold out real fast, I tried one on but it was not a pattern I wanted Teresa says they will be available going forward! I much prefer the zip model to the pullover!
