I ordered a new pocket quiver from Art Vincent last week and within a few days it arrived.
As you can see, it’s a beautiful piece of work, made of good thick leather. It will easily fit 6-8 field-tipped arrows. One of the features I really like about this quiver is the good-sized external pocket – something not found on most other pocket quivers I’ve seen. It’s big enough for my tab, bow wax and stringer, or a ham sandwich. 😀
This particular quiver doesn’t have a belt loop, but is instead wide enough that it fits securely in a back pocket. The external pocket also helps with keeping it locked in place.
A simple item, but well thought-out and well executed by a talented craftsman. Perfect for backyard sessions and stumping.
For those unfamiliar with Art’s work, check out Cedar Ridge Leather Works for more info and a number of other fine products.

Hammer, if you don’t already have a son, best get right to work on it as you sure have lots of great stuff to leave to him! Or maybe have a daughter and wait for a grandson. 😆

It’s funny you say that. I’ve actually been on a mission lately to purge and sell all the stuff I’m sitting on that I no longer use, and reduce the amount of crap in my life. But in the process, I’ve also decided to be more selective about what I buy, and when I do, spend it on well-crafted items made by people who care about what they produce. And my recent eBay sell-off has given me a little extra pocket cash to do so. Hence this sweet little quiver, my recent Thunderchild, and probably too many nice knives. You guys are just getting to see all the good stuff, since this is about all I splurge on anymore!
Junk out the door, and fewer things coming in is my mantra these days.
Oh, and I don’t think kids are going to happen for us at this point, but we do have two lovely dogs, who I’m sure would love to chew on my bows and leather goods…

Heck Bruce, you can adopt both of us and I’d get my own kibble, and help with his. 😀 I don’t mind sharing with siblings. 😉

That’s a great pocket quiver, I have one I got at kazoo a few years ago, and I use it for every outing, other than hunting.
You do have an eye for quality. 8)

That works. Just promise to stay off the sofa.

Now that is really the stuff with your handle on it too!

Very nice, R2. Art sure makes a fine quiver!

I got to meet the “man” himself and look at his fine work firsthand yesterday at the PBS gathering in Cincinnati. Great guy and very nice work indeed! He makes a great new arm guard that I had to order. I highly recommend his products. Horserod
