Hopefully, Lord willin and the cricks don’t rise, I’m going to be living few miles south of Greensville, TN by late October.

Any TB folks in that area?

The club listings were all pretty far West of me…

We two ornery minds, nah…. We’d probably just shoot and leave everyone alone. 😀 Like you said, “Make more arrows”.

Hey Doc! I’m not too far from Greenville. I’m in Bristol. PM me sometime. I don’t know of any trad clubs as of now, but I think kettlefoot shooting range has some shoots sometimes.

Wrong way old buddy. PA was closer. On the other hand the next time I fly to UT, I’ll wave.

                    Hey Doc,

When you get down there, stop in at Greenville Outfitters. They don’t look Trad, but they probably know some stick and string guys. Looks like a nice little town with a little bit of culture thrown in. Congratulations on your new adventure. dwc

Thanks, Dave, I’ll check out that oufitter when I get there…

Grumpy, I look straight up, I tend to fall over backerts, so if you see some guy falling down when you wave, it might be me and I wasn’t laughin at you! 8)

I looked up Greenville online, just for the heck of it. Seems like a nice place. Definitely has small town feel. Good luck! dwc

                          Thanks, Dave,

I went from NE TN, to Greenville, over 40 to NE of Nashville and back. Liked the higher elevation around Greenville, but not quite so steep I can’t get around on these old pins as in Mountain City area.

Met all my criteria. Rural. Hospitals (has 2); cheaper living; and can get outside town a wee bit and am in country living.

I’m just a few miles outside town and it’s near area called Sunnyside, TN off 350 and Jones Bridge Road. Still only 15 min from town.

Naturally, you don’t have the broad choices for internet, phone, etc. Just comcast or Century Link which might not suit me either one. Don’t want TV and don’t want to pay for what I don’t use.

but I can set up a target in my back yard and shoot. And even take my rusted ole ladder stand along cause I got a couple maple trees out back of my deck and shoot as I’d hunt… Can have a garden after all these years again… so I think I’ll settle in ok.

Just big changes and some serious nasty tween here and there getting packed and moved.

Sure would be nice to hook up with a couple guys down that way to shoot bows and the bull with to help settle in!

Thanks, Mike. Thanks for your service and enduring all those moves. When I get the estimate, I’m going to wish I had Uncle Sam paying for it I’m sure! That is my next biggest hurdle! :0

Thanks, Carl, for your series of PMs.

Anybody else know anyone around that area? Sure be great to have a few folks close to hand to chat with and such…
