A-lot of SNOW!!!

Well for those of you that dont know, the Northeast was just hammered by alot of snow, we got 33 inches one weekend then just about the time we got everything cleared we got hammered by another 20 inches. And for you guys up north or west that get this much snow all the time, well . . . it ain’t powder, it is wet heavy snow!

this one was before this last storm and after we lost about 100 inches to melt.

and this one is right after we cleared everything up yesterday!

That’s a lot of snow Chris, check the delivery address I’m sure it was ordered for the winter olympics.

Be interesting to get out and see whats about lots of tracks.

well I was out yesterday, a good pair of snow shoes would do some good:roll:, but bein down in maryland snowshoes are not something in the everyday household. We have some massive drifts, which is the big problem vs the last storm where we got back on our feet pretty quicly.

As far as tracks, I only see squirrel tracks, they are walkin on top of it no problem. I think the rabbits are currently burried under the snow, there is seriously no trace of them, I hope they fare okay. I didnt go where the deer are, couldnt walk that far(around a 8′ drift was blockin me), but I imagine they are okay? That 8′ was a oddity, there is a junk pile there that is already 4 foot without snow, and I wasnt walkin that way. The majority of our drifts are 4′

yea it definatly would be. . . except the brushy thickets are under snow:shock:, no tracks either, I will check again today???

Up here we’ve got about half as much as we should (barely enough for my snowshoeing this weekend). I was wondering where it all went! 😡

I figured you guys were probably getting it from the weather reports. The last two storms tracked to far north to impact us. We are getting some now though. The forecast is 2-4 inches here but it started earlier than they said. Would not surprise me to get twice that. Glad you guys are doing OK.
