Well internet access has been iffy lately, plus there has been alot of Bear hunting to get through. Long story short, no Bears. But here a couple of pics anyhow, hope you enjoy.

        First bunny on the run.

Bunny killed in my PJ’s during a morning run to the bushes.

Our bows, some good looking sheds (found on hunt), and a Lynx skull (also found on hunt).

Sorry about no bears but looks like you had a good time. Food for the pot and nice sheds.

Hey, bunnies are harder to hit than bears,so be proud. 😆 Seems way early for bears, and I’m also surprised you have rabbit season there in spring. Hard to tell from the photos but do you have both aspen and birch up there in the Provinces?

Sorry for the extremely late reply, my internet access has been kinda iffy.
Yah Alberta has an extremely liberal rabbit season. It runs all year and your limit is unlimited. Same goes for Woodchucks, Gophers, Porkupine, Jackrabbit, Cottontail, and even Beaver (only on private land with written consent of the landowner). As far as being early for Bears, it seems their rut begins around then up here. As far as Bear sightings on this trip, I ran into 5 seperate Bears so they definately appear to be out and about.
Yup we have both Aspen and Birch in Alberta.

                  Great pics. Thanks for sharing.

(Is that a compass case I see on the belt, opposite the bear sticker? 😉 )
