My daughter came over yesterday to practice with both her bow and with the camera from her job. It is one of those cameras that has way too many buttons and functions, but in the process of leaning the camera we did catch a couple of pretty good pictures.

You’ve got me on that one. I didn’t even pay any as it was way over my head……

You both have great form.

Thanks!!!
As you can see my daughter is shooting with my bow……..:? She has all but claimed it, guess I’m going to have to break down and get her one just like it soon……

Thanks y’all!!! She took a bunch of me that were really good for showing my form. This one was pretty good and shows I’m dragging my one finger. I correct this some in the second picture.

That IS pretty cool!
I’ve had an itch (and this didnt help it!) to attempt….key word there, ATTEMPT to get a shot or two in the woods actually shooting at a deer…….ANY deer lol.
The task is hard enough without dictating that it be at a buck.
Going to play around here at home to see what the old camera will do but think my current camera will be useful only to BRIGHT sunny mornings with plenty of light.
I think I can set a short timer on it, use a long cable release to trip it, set it off to one side and slightly behind me and also set it to take X number of consecutive photos…….all I need is luck and lots of it!
Would be fun though. Was going to rent a video cam for such but the local rentacenter stopped carrying them in stock for such. I may have to ask if they can still get them.
A good cam or camera has to have a wide aperature, enough so that you still have min 1/40 of a second shutter speed or (I’d think) it would be a poor shot out in the woods hunting. Bet yours was several times that.
Love that feather splicing!!
Quite obviously your shutter speed was pretty fast on yours, ol buddy, to stop the arrow like that.
God Bless

Steve Sr. perhaps if you had a camera man shooting from behind you from a distance of say 50 yards, you could get a pic and not disturb your quarry.

Steve Sr. I was able to get video of me missing a buck last year…….
Of course the camera wasn’t running or I didn’t even take it on all my kills. Never fails……LOL
I did get some video of me shooting a squirrel in the butt. Dang those little suckers are fast. Here is a link to the video. Oh and talk about mad, he fussed at me for 15-20 minutes. That blunt tip must have hurt pretty good, but that is what he gets for turning the other cheek.
