…long enough, that is!
Hunting season’s not open here just yet, but never let it be said my Kegan longbow didn’t provide food for her new caretaker.
Specs: Hickory selfbow from a tree cut by Kegan himself; 35#@28″; somewhere around 64″(just long enough to reach the best pear on the tree if I stretched as far as we could). Oh yeah, and she shoots great too!
Only photographed one of my ‘harvested’ trophies tonight because I couldn’t resist eating the rest as they fell into my hands. Here’s my trophy along with my new bow–ya gotta admit, that’s one good looking pear!:

A nicely composed photo! Thamas Aquinas Daly would approve. 😀

Try doing that with a compound/crossbow/long gun!

Thanks guys. I couldn’t resist posting a trophy pic to start the season, LOL. And wow, those big, ripe pears sure are sweet!

That is a beautiful photo. You should take it to a local printer and have some greeting cards made with it. Enjoy the fruits of your photography, too.

Fantastic photo. Mighty purty pear, too.:D

Good thing you took some pictures, now this trophy will live on long after it is consumed.

Nice pic.. I admire how you present the bow with the barn wood background. Taking a good photo requires knowledge of perspective and design. Nice job 😀
