My brother and I were fortunate to get 2 nice bucks from the same stand 5 weeks apart. The stand is located at a pinch point on the edge of thick brush between the woods and a horse pasture. The rack on my brothers deer is unique and must have been damaged during the summer while still in velvet. My buck is the biggest 7pt I ever shot. The deer sled I mentioned in a previous thread was put to good use as both deer dressed out over 165# putting live weight close to 200# each. Both deer were killed with Tuffhead broadheads. My buck was taken with a 44# Bear 59er and my brothers with a 42# Sovereign Ballistik. Needless to say we had a very successful and gratifing 2016 archery season.

Love it how there are nice bucks out there like this every year. A great resource to enjoy and protect.

Great deer! Even more impressive that you were both using “low” poundage bows.

Congratulations! You’ve done better than I have. PA season ended a few days too early form me. I hate the way PA does the archery season!
