Thanks Steve. I currently have an assortment of wood seasoning and I’m slowly working on a bench to work on them. Not to totally sidetrack your thread here but, real quick… I’m trying to work with local wood for sentimental value so I’m using birch and maple. Not ideal, I know but it’s the best suited wood in my area. I’m thinking of kinda a flatbow design with rawhide backing. I was thinking glass as I asked about before but the more I thought about it and researched it, this seemed like the better option. Knowing you have a lot more expertise here, I’d welcome any input you be willing to offer?
