Not a michigander, but, hunt and bum on the Wisconsin/U.P. border. Have been for the last 25 years or so. With that said I have been applying for a bear license since 2001. Not many given out, especially to non-residents like myself, but in the mean time I just make sure I get it in before the deadline each year.
