Another excellent resource and one I can’t recommend too much, is Anthony Camera’s ” Shooting the Stickbow- A Practical Approach to Classical Archery”. Not a hunting book but 380 pages of encyclopedic knowledge of everything else archery- for beginners to old salts. An essay about the pioneer Earl Hoyt and photos, care and restoration of his wonderful collection of early Bear and Hoyt recurves.
Hey, we have to something this miserable winter- sheets of water incessantly pouring down here in the PNW for the past week- and so pick up some good books and make some arrows!
