I like the Ace Hex Head for tough small game. While I’ve never tried pheasants with the bow I’ve read many accounts and it seems they mostly say that a 2 blade broadhead not quite shaving sharp is best because pheasants are tough birds. Chachalaca are probably equally tough. But if blount is preffered such as when using dogs, I’d go with a steel blount such as the Ace. It can be bought in variety weights to match the other heads you are shooting. I buy glue ons and glue them to inserts when I want to use carbons. On a side note you should probably use flu flus for birds or you may lose alot of arrows. I use a 3 fletch flu flu that has some speed but is not too slow.
