1/2t — I’m a bit slow on the uptake, but if I understand you correctly, why not just cut off an inch of the rod and weigh it? But in the bigger picture, if you’re using screw-in points why not just buy some brass washer weights made for that purpose? Seems like a lot of work for very little gain and almost no money savings involved. 😕 But perhaps I’m missing something. In any event, welcome to Tradbow.com and I hope someone here can help you. Dave
