I was in an old bookstore the other day and found a book titled, “Modern Bowhunting.” The book was printed in 1958, and in it are numerous accounts of hunting trips, as well as tips and tactics for the various game that the author was hunting.
One of the tips in the book was to use a reel and line setup on your bow, similar to bowfishing setups, but with heavier line so as to keep your arrows retrievable while hunting birds! Now I don’t know about anyone else but to me that was GENIUS. Now I just have to try it out.
Any ideas as to how to attach the line to my arrow? Hope you guys find this as interesting as I did!:D
