Way back in the late 60s my mom bought me a 30# green and white longbow with a black rubber grip. For the life of me I can’t remember who made those bows. I made several of my own woodenbows back then but I will always remember that bow. It was lost in a fire when my dad’s little trailer caught fire, probably from one of his cigarettes he threw out the window.

Had a green one with a white rubber handle in 1968, it was a Shakespeare 28# at 28″ if I remember correctly.

There was also one called “Paul Bunyan” they used to make them all the way up to 50 LBS.

I think Shakespeare is what I’m thinking of. Thank you.

There were quite a few. I had Ben Pearson Locksley all glass green & white bow that was 45# @ 28. I gave it away to someone looking for a youth bow. It was a pretty cool bow. A real work horse.
