I recently heard about Jay Campbell’s new book called Longbow. I thought it should be shared here on TBM’s website. I have been an admirer of Jay’s writing from afar. I believe most of his bowhunting writings have been in TBM…Well looks like here is where I am spending my next 20 bucks! T

Jay Campbell is a talented writer and dedicated traditional bowhunter. I ordered his book from Barnes and Noble the end of Feb. and read it in March when vacationing at Myrtle Beach. He has a chapter at the end featuring a book he is still working on called Paradox expected to be released by fall 2013. I will purchase it also when it is released.

I was not surprised at how good his book was because of reading his well written articles in Traditional Bowhunter.

An update on Jay’s Book,Longbow, A Hunting Life. I read his book throughout elk season and I was really blown away by how great a book it is. Jay and Karen’s adventures with traditional bows are deeply personal and the book is full of adventure and life lessons. I loved it. I have an amazing collection of Traditional archery/bowhunting books. Longbow is an instant classic that belongs with the best of them…
