Sorry Cottonwood. To each his own. But killing a bear with it’s head in a garbage can, and a deer with it’s head in a feed station … not my kind of hunting, as it’s not hunting at all but baiting. Must be Texas. No offense but I feel sorry for the animals and disgust for the “hunter” and politely suggest you delete this post. –treetop

Treetop, I respectfully disagree. I think those tactics of hunting are culturally bound to certain parts of the country. I don’t think that was a feed bin, but a watering hole. I am almost certain as that looked like a coues deer.

Either way the film and music is pretty good just like cottonwood said, in my opinion.

Bill puts together some good stuff.

Treetopper, I’m sorry it offended you… BUT, even though we can not bait here in Montana, just to the west of me is Idaho where they can, and do. There are many states where this is legal. In my book its no differant than hunting an apple orchard where there are dropped apples, and the bear and deer often come in and are taken.

Many friends of mine use feeder stations in Texas, where again its legal to do so.

I know it rubbed your ethics grain the wrong way, but not everyone has the same ethics as each and every one of us here.

No offense Treetopper but I don’t think Cotton should take his post down unless it shows an illegal activity. If it was baiting depicted, and it is legal where the video was shot, then no law was broken. However, like you, my convictions have lead me not to engage in baiting animals while hunting even though it is legal in my state while on private land. I must follow my own convictions but I know I cannot impress them on others unless I can get the laws changed.
