Back a few years, some bowyers were up into the multiple year waiting list when popular…some older gents commented that they’d not wait that long for anything…one went so far as to post, “I don’t even buy green bananas at my age anymore”

I laughed till I cried on that one…now…a number of years later in the twilight of my own existence, that just ain’t funny no mo!:roll:

The anticipation does sweeten the results… but don’t go developing bizarre fantasies… there is still a dance to do with your new sweetheart to not step on her toes and make beautiful music together.

It sometimes take time to get to know one another…:lol:

WV–I took a 45year hiatus from hunting due to work. Got back 3 years ago thanks to Elkheart and now have two long bows—and that kid at christmas morning feeling hasn’t left this ole Marine yet. Enjoy it. Where in WV are you? Perhaps close enough to do some stump busting together.

congrats on your new bow coming – I have read or heard bowyers are out 14 months – it’s just hard to believe – I was a bowaholic and I can’t imagine the wait any way can’t wait to see some photos
