I just bought one, and I put it on the trail 3 days ago. How long should I wait until I should check it? I’m antsy already and it’s been 3 days only! I’m new to this! 😉

Alex, I check them every two weeks.I like the metal security box for them with a cable lock.I put metal wire loops on the box and bungee cord them to the tree.Unlock the cable, pull cable out, check battery and switch memory card(buy 2 for each camera).Best of luck!

Alex, I always use some “de-scenting” 😀 procedures as I check and fiddle with my cameras.

I at least spay with “de-scenting” spray on me and spray the camera area down some when I leave.

It’s been three weeks since I checked mine and I hope to get where I can go check them this week.

Archery opens here Oct. 4th. :D:D:D:D

Thank you. I found a cool trail about 2 miles hike from my truck, and since my hunting time will be extra limited this season, I’d like to know if there are any deer coming thru. If yes, I will spend a day or two hunting that area.

Hey Alex, you may want to check it soon since it’s your first time setting them out. I like to check them after a couple days when I first set out a camera. I do this to make sure I had the settings on what I wanted, and to check the angle if it’s only getting parts of animals or the picture you want, and to make sure there isn’t some grass blowing in the wind or sun spot I hadn’t seen. Other than that after the first check to make sure I set it up right, then I like what’s been posted above.
