I know aluminum is generally used for footing a carbon arrow. My question is.. Has anyone ever used carbon to foot a carbon arrow and would it be as durable as an aluminum footing? I have some arrow dynamics shafts that fit perfectly over my current carbons that I am shooting and was just curious if they would work as good as aluminum? Thanks

Only way to know is to try! I hate that “bump” of the over-footing coming up, so I like to put a long taper on the back of the footing. I can do that more easily with alum…not sure with carbon.

          Good luck w/ the idea!

gonna be too big Alu is very thin and is more resistant to shocks

If you got evreything needed why don’t you try by yourself

            Could be kind for others:roll:

A friend of mine repairs the cracked rear side tubes with a carbon filament and glue

At the front side of arrow it is not as strong as aluminum
