so for those who dont know i’m pretty new to traditional archery(archery in general) and thus this is the first time i have built a arrow for hunting (deer)..

i have a POC shaft, 11/32nd / 55-60 spine / cut to 29″ long / 3 5″ shield feathers / and a 145 gn STOS i have no idea what weight they are but they fly pretty good for me (pie plate at 25 yards and in, better the closer)

that should work right? does anyone have a idea what weight it might be (ball park)? if helps any i’m using a 55lbs recurve.. thanks guys…

Personally I don’t see anything wrong with your set up. If you are getting good arrow flight, keep your broadheads razor sharp and put the sharp pointy end in the heart lung area you should take a deer home.

          Good luck
