Who makes a good bow holder for longbows and recurves. I like having my bow in front of me instead of hanging on a hook behind me on the tree. Id like to have on that bolts to the top step on my ladder stands. Thanks.

          Oak,

I wonder about the same thing. I often think of making one that the tip of the bow can stand in. My hearing is not the best and often when I see deer it’s already close, so I want to minimize movement as much as possible. That said, I don’t sit, I stand, and I hold the bow with the tip either in a leather cuff I’ve sewn into my pants or tucked into the top of my boot, ready to go. If you find something, please post it. thanks, dwc

Here is what I have been using this year. It has worked very well for me.I like the 3 armed version because it allows for a great range of adjustment. I know in some locations it is not legal because it is a screw in device.

I like to use a branch or part of one of the tree I am in or a close by tree.
