Its laminated ash limbs , maple and mahogany handle. My design . It hinges real bad at fade outs so I had to spoke shave the last belly layer of mahogany off because it was not flexable enough to match up with ash
. Going shopping for more ash for belly on the weekend.

I like the design — very Racy—–looks 90mph standing still – haha
What poundage are you striving for?
Scout.

I would imagine – design -type of wood – amount of wood has an effect on poundage? Is this the first one of this type, thus making it unsure of where it will end up?

All of what you said , including limb thickness , length etc , in my opinion home made laminated bows are the hardest to make. My stick bows are easier , meaning to say they are more forgiving , a little off here a little off there, and tahda, go shoot. I’ll post a pic of my first stick bow , its crooked , bumpy , and twisted , but it shoots soft. Its great for targets and friends to try.

Very Nice ! — I like it alot, Just my style of bow too–
curious to see what poundage it gets. What is the length?
You might want to start your own bowyer/archery business –not enuff of those around , at least Trad in the SW.

very exotic ! I am trying to sort out the handle section –looks like it has kind of a palm swell from the pix.
It would definely have a different “feel” to it than most bows

Maker, That’s a great lookin’ bow ! The sight window seems real short in the picture. Is that an optical illusion or just exactly how you cut it ? If correct, I’ve never shot a bow with that short of a window. Do you anchor at your eye ? I have to see my arrow when I shoot. Very nice bow ! Bullseye

Understand – not a judgement, just an interested comment. I imagine it would feel reminiscent of a bear. should give your hand excellent repeat {consistent} index.
