        Hey guys,
I recently shot my first long beard and I saved one of the wings, and I’m wondering if some of the feathers have uses for hunting the hard way with my long bow.(i shot the turkey with my 12 gauge)

I make all my fletchings with wild turkey primaries.

Wing and tail feathers work great for fletching….tailfeathers most especially on primitive arrows. A wing is invaluable for flapping, fly-downs, and brushing against the tree to sound like a bird on the limb.

At the very least, hang the suckers up everywhere. Garden, office, truck, neighbor’s porch….:D

I have a few friends that use them to tie there own flys for fishing.
