I was happy to attend a Pennsylvania Longbow Association shoot hosted by the West Caln Sportsman’s Club, West Caln Township, PA, on Sunday. From what I understand Saturday was really well attended. Sunday might have been a little more sparse, but it was a great bunch of guys, most of whom I met for the first time. It was about a five hour round trip for me, so I’m not exactly a local, but they all made me feel right at home. The courses were well thought out and safe, with plenty of trees and brush to shoot around to make it all very realistic.

In this photo are Tim Burris, shooting, and bowyer Leon Stewart watching. The second is a group of guys that I won’t event attempt to name, as I’d be missing half of them. The last one is a fellow named Bud, who they claim is one of their best. He was shooting straight on Sunday and is a real gentleman. Great time, great bunch of archers.
