        Hi all,My name is John and i have been veiwing this site for some time.I have picked up alot of knowledge and tips.My passion is to shoot my recurve bows and hunt whitetails on public land on Long Island N.Y. which is very challenging. I look foward to sharing stories and good times with all of you.

            Welcome. I didn’t even realize that Long Island had ANY hunting land. Shows what an old fart can learn.

                      We have some good hunting land on the island mainly scub oaks and pine barrens and some farms on the east end.Some N.Y. record bucks have been taken here, and the best part it is bow only hunting Oct 1st. to Dec 31st. 😀 John
