Many of you have probably tried Tim Strickland’s helix broadhead already, but I just wanted to report on my satisfaction with the head. On a recent hog hunt I used them for the first time and achieved a complete pass through on a hog using my Fedora recurve with a 55# draw weight. The hog died within 25 yrds. The arrows fly great with the helix heads. The single bevel edge works with the fletch to stabilize the arrow in flight. A little pricy, but I highly recommend them. 😀

Well here I thought it was going to be a retro story about the 1950 Helix broadhead.

As Harry S. Truman said: “The only thing new in the world is the history you don’t know.”

            Needing 2 or three….hint hint hint 😆

Sorry, no info on them other than an interest on the old ones, but thanks for that update!

            So many options……..!!
