Have any of you had any experience with the Magnus Stingers or the Razorcaps? I am curious about the dynamics of them. Thanks.

I know of a couple of guys in Alberta, Canada that will only shoot the Razorcaps, both for bear and moose. They think its the best thing next to slice bread 🙂 And they both shoot traditional gear.

I have the stingers and I like them, have not physically christened them, but they have a lifetime gaurentee, And they are razor sharp! Cant go wrong with a two blade!

I have used both and you really can’t go wrong with either one. Both are very high quality and fly very well too. Forced to pick between the two I’d opt for the Stinger, which IMO penetrates a little better.

I have a friend who use to shoot Razorcaps. One day, while shooting in his basement, he missed his target and hit the poured concrete foundation (much harder than cinder blocks).

Not only did the head stick in the concrete, but came back out completely intact and straight. I was impressed.

I use the Stingers and love them. I have killed a coyote and deer with the same 150 gr. 4 bld head.

I used to shoot the 2 blade stingers and shot 2 deer with them. No damage to the head with any of my kills so far.
I went to the 4 blade for better blood trails

Killed a doe from treestand at 15 yrds with a stinger. She barely twitched when the arrow hit..almost as if a fly bit her making me think that I had missed till i saw the bloodied arrom stuck in the ground 😯 .She walked another 10 yrds or so with her “boyfriend” the button buck following and keeled over dead after legs buckled. The doe did not even know she was hit!…they truly are that sharp oh yes it was the 2 blade version.
The only issue I had with them is the aluminum ferrule which can and did bend once when I buried a shaft into the ground but magnus guarantees them for life…I was just too lazy to mail it to them.
