Robin has just posted Update 7 to the 2008 Ashby Study, which you can find in the Ashby Library at the bottom of the Studay report list or shortcut via https://www.tradbow.com/members/435.cfm.
To me, this is one of the most useful and enjoyable updates to date, because it’s written simply enough that even a physics know-nothing like me can easily follow and understand it throughout. Also, the topics are less theoretical and more hands-on, to wit: ultra-EFOC as it relates to arrow shaft structural integrity; a summary review of Mechanical Advantage (MA) and edge-bevel influences on penetration; and test reports for the 300-Xtreme 3-blade, the single-bevel Zwickey No Mercy; the Rage mechanical; a modified Grizzly with bleeder blades; and prototypes of the ABS Nanook and Ashby single-bevels. A long, interesting, clarifying and useful report update. Thanks again, Dr. Ashby! dp
