Today I took some CX 350 heritage shafts. Some 100gn gold tip brass inserts. ( put them in a high speed drill and sanded them to where they would just fit the shafts.) Some gold tip 50 gn screw in wights and 200 gn field tips. I ended up with a 29.5″ arrow that is 832 gn and has 23.7% FOC. They shoot pretty nice out of my 62# @ my draw longbow. I think this might be my new setup at lease for this coming season. I have never hunted with a arrow this heavy but if I make any mistakes it should bust some bone with the samurai brodheads that I shoot. And crush bunnies with a SGT.

Yep bare shafted tell I got bare shafts grouping just right maybe one to one half inch and set nock to where they are grouping about the same low. From what I understand this makes them just week and should be more forgiving. They are shooting real tight groups can all most get both sets of safts and arrows too have the three shaffs touching I busted 4 nocks while trying for these tight groups.

I need to take them out and shoot them at some further distances and maybe some more fine tuning. I also thought about taking some fo the 50 gn screw in wights out of the back of the insert and adding more to the tip just to see how much different they shoot and how it effects the FOC. But so far I think they are good. My inside range is only 17 yards from where I shoot next time it is calm out I will see how they do at 30.
