Spoke with Glenn last night and he was in good spirits. Told me how the old Northwest Archery has been turned into an Archery Bistro. His photo is on the wall along with several items of memorabilia. He also said they were re-alining the road out in front of his house, rebuilding the sidewalk which will allow him a straight shot from his front door to the Bistro on his scooter! Not bad for 98 years young.
Hope I still have that much fire when I’m 98.

I always hope that my travels take me to Seattle so that I could pay him a visit.

I managed to get invited to the opening of that Archery Bistro and I knew the big man would be there and I would get a chance to meet him. Upon arrival I saw Glenn St. Charles there with some other great folks and paid a visit. He looked good to me. Most important of all I ate some of those special cookies he carries around and shared a new hunting story of mine with him. He seemed somewhat interested in some of my bear hunting. Although I might be fooling myself.

The Archery Bistro turned the old door of the archery shop into a table top. I am not a fan of the bistro but I ate their food as it was at no cost to me and the people were very cordial.

Happy birthday and hopefully many more to Mr. St. Charles.
