I ordered a Dwyer Endeavor longbow a few months back. I dont even know if I can get the poundage changed now or if its to late but thats something I will have to call and find out. First I wanted to ask this question before I even call. I ordered it at 50# @ 28″. The recurve I am shooting now is the same specs but I have been thinking that maybe I should have went 45#. I shoot pretty decent with 50# but have been thinking I would be steadier at 45#. All I am hunting is whitetails so I figure 45# should be plenty enough poundage. Everybow I have is 50# and up. Not sure what I should do. It may even be to late to do anything depending on how far along Dave is with the bow.

Call Dwyer, if your bow not finished there is no reason not to change
If bow is build , it’s a very bad idea to reduce poundage 😯

My bows are all in the 50 to 55 range and luv it . I can shoot all day long . 60lbs is too much bow for me . The only one that can answer your question is you . If 50 is too much definitely drop to 45 that would be plenty of bow – good luck
