        Another all-around fine issue, folks.

Starting with a truly great cover pic.

While every single article offered the kind of content that one rarely, if ever, finds in hunting magazines any more, I have to say I particularly enjoyed Lucas Schmidt’s “The First Dozen.” A good narrative device for weaving multiple stories together, and just plain enjoyable to read.

And if there was only one paragraph that I had to choose from the entire issue, it would be the very last paragraph of the closing piece. Well said, Mr. Holbrook.

Thanks to all for their work on this.

I’ll have to keep an eye out for it. We don’t seem to get the new issues as quickly up here!! I did, however, enjoy the Feb/Mar. issue very much !! Especially the Spring Fling and Dead Woods articles !! over the past few years, this has become the only magazine I actually read anymore !!

Duncan Pledger’s piece about the crazy names for achery tackle was a quick, good read. Yep, seems like everybody wants to be an assassin. thanks, dwc
