This is a piggy back off of a current post regarding AMO for hunting.

I am just curious about bow lengths and shapes and the pros and cons for them.

For example I have heard that shorter bows are more difficult to shoot than longer bows but why?

I understand that if you have recurve in your limbs that they arrow will fly faster…once again why?

What is the story behind reflex/deflex bows minus looking pretty freaking awesome?

Just trying to learn alittle more about bows themselves
