Are there any traditional clubs in Western NY? Say around southern Erie or northern Chautauqua counties. If not, are there enough people here interested in starting one? I put this up on the “New York bowhunters forum” a month ago and got no reply. I guess they don’t like sticks and strings. I’m kicking around the idea but don’t think I can do this by myself. nybubba

No, I’m new to all of this and have been out of commision for a while. I just had reconstructive surgery on my ankle and my cast came off tues. I’m in a walking cast now and in a month or so should start physical therapy. So I haven’t paid to much attention to any shoots this yr.

Wow, I was sifting through old threads and saw this. Very cool! I’m from Panama NY so it was exciting to see some mention of the old area. Not a very common occurrence to say the least! Ah, anyway, I moved away in 01′ when I joined uncle sams band of misfits and call the deep south home now. Sure do miss those big ol’ whitetails these days! Our deer here a like deer-shaped dogs! Haha

I’m in the South West corner of the Adirondack Park, hour/hour half from Syracuse and would like to find something for when I’m up there (Republic of NJ is home – for now!) There was a GREAT shop south of me, Tollgate Traditions, but George and Marcie Catlin now looking at a well deserved retirement so biz is closing….
Love to hear from fellow Northern NY’ers….:D
