Hi Vance, I personally never used one but by the looks of it, it’ll probably do a good job with 3 blade broadheads. The one thing I didn’t like of similar type of broadhead sharpeners was that you needed to buy a whole different unit with different grits like coarse, medium and fine. If you do get one, let us know how they work.

Alright, I know the Pollington’s at Oneida Eagle have a similar broadhead sharpening block and it works like a charm. I seen the owner, Mr. Pollington put a very sweet edge on one of his Patriot 2 blade broadheads and his are pre set at 25 degrees if I remember correctly.

The KME is what I have and I have no complaints about the sharpener, the only problem with it is that you better buy a large box of band-aids because your broadheads end up unbelievably sharp !!!!!

I think Ron at KME hit the nail on the head when he designed the sharpener because he came up with a product that could be used by everyone and that did what it was supposed to do.

KME is THE way to go…

For those sharpening challanged, the KME is, hands down, the best I’ve ever seen. I’ve always been gifted at sharpening, and can sharpen most anything by any method, but I find myself using the KME more and more, just because it’s so darned simple and fast. I use the knife sharpening model on single-bevels, but also have the broadhead version, which works great on the double-bevels.

Perhaps the very best thing about using the KME is that Ron is only a phone call away. He’s THE MAN when it comes to sharpening and, if you do have problems learning to use his sharpeners he’ll talk you through it, step by step … with the right information!
